NEW YORK — The best day of Julio Urias‘ life had a familiar ending to Dodgers fans: a walk-off solo home run by Curtis Granderson off Pedro Baez. The Mets won 6-5.

ATLANTA — Luis Avilan is back with the Dodgers today for the final game of a three-game series against the Braves. He’ll be available out of the bullpen, giving the Dodgers an extra left-hander to go with five right-handers.
Avilan will take the roster spot of Louis Coleman, whose grandfather (Harold Louis Coleman I) passed away. He can remain on the bereavement list for three to seven days.
Pedro Baez was a candidate to go on the 7-day concussion disabled list after he was hit in the back of a head by an errant warm-up throw in the fourth inning of last night’s win.
But Thursday morning, Baez said he felt well enough to pitch after undergoing tests last night and again this morning. He played catch in the outfield, as is custom.
After struggling in spring training, Avilan notched five scoreless appearances across six innings at Triple-A Oklahoma City to start the season. He made 23 appearances last season for the Dodgers, who acquired him from the Braves in advance of last year’s trade deadline.
ATLANTA — The Dodgers clawed their way back from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Atlanta Braves 5-3 in 10 innings. The box score is here.
