The Dodgers pulled a season-best 15 games over .500 and grabbed a share of first place for the first time since May 14 by beating the Philadelphia Phillies 9-3 on Tuesday. The box score is here.

Even before his party video went viral, the Dodgers decided to remove all of the Yasiel Puig merchandise from their team store.

Here’s what they were saying after the game:

Game 112: Dodgers brush aside Phillies, keep pace in National League West.

Corey Seager

The Dodgers continued their improbable streak of success without Clayton Kershaw, battering Zach Eflin and the Philadelphia Phillies in a 9-4 win. The box score is here.

Rich Hill and Brandon McCarthy are throwing bullpen sessions tomorrow at Dodger Stadium, albeit for very different reasons.

Josh Ravin pitched a scoreless ninth inning, allowing only a triple to Cesar Hernandez in his 2016 debut. The Chatsworth native said he wants to “destroy everyone” he pitches to.

Ravin also told me after the game that his “Twitter feud” with teammate Kiké Hernandez didn’t require a “clear the air” talk. They didn’t discuss it during their mutual time at the Dodgers’ complex in Arizona earlier in the year.

“It’s just, forget about it,” Ravin said. “It never happened.”

Here’s more from the clubhouse postgame:

Julio Urias will become the seventh different pitcher to start for the Dodgers in their last eight games when the rookie left-hander takes the mound Monday against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Manager Dave Roberts made the announcement prior to the Dodgers’ game against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday.

Urias, 19, is 1-2 with a 4.98 earned-run average in 10 games (nine starts) with the Dodgers this season. The top prospect in the organization was 5-1 with a 1.40 ERA in 11 games (seven starts) at Triple-A this year.

Game 108: Zack Greinke rebounds from disastrous first inning in Dodgers’ win.

PHILADELPHIA — Zack Greinke did it all, for better or worse, in the Dodgers’ 10-8 win over the Phillies. Even after giving up six runs in six innings his ERA is lower than Clayton Kershaw‘s last season, so where does the Greinke-for-MVP candidacy stand? The box score is here.

The Dodgers’ lead in the National League West is 2 ½ games over the San Francisco Giants, who play the Cubs on Thursday night.

The Phillies’ radio color commentator lobbed a verbal grenade at Joc Pederson yesterday based on something Pederson never said.

Watch: Zack Greinke hits home run, flips bat.

PHILADELPHIA — The Phillies scored five runs in the first inning Thursday against Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke, the most runs Greinke has allowed in an inning — or a game — this season.

The Dodgers came back and held a 6-5 lead in the third inning when Greinke did this:

The fifth home run of Greinke’s career traveled an estimated 395 feet. It was his first home run since Sept. 13, 2014 in San Francisco.

According to the website BaseballSavant.com, which tracks exit velocity data, Greinke’s 106 mph home run is the hardest-hit home run among the 11 this season hit by pitchers.
