The Dodgers have the third-best record in the National League and a 4 ½-game lead in the West division. Two players on the disabled list (Carl Crawford and Carlos Frias) are close to joining the 25-man roster. So is Hector Olivera. The farm system is stronger than it’s been in years, and will soon yield some young major leaguers — if not an impact player at the trade deadline.
So, straight A’s here, right?
