Alex Guerrero 0 for 4 for Double-A Tulsa.

Alex Guerrero went 0 for 4 with two strikeouts, a groundout and a flyout for Double-A Tulsa today. He played nine innings at third base and fielded three ground balls without making an error.

Overall Guerrero is 0 for 12 since his rehab transferred from Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. His rehab will transfer to Triple-A Oklahoma City next week.

Guerrero hasn’t played a game this season while rehabbing a knee injury that he suffered in spring training.

Carlos Frias throws four scoreless innings for Double-A Tulsa.

Carlos Frias threw four scoreless innings in his latest rehab start at Double-A Tulsa on Tuesday. The right-hander allowed two singles to the Springfield Cardinals, walked none and struck out two.

Frias, who is building up strength after being felled by an oblique injury in March, has allowed one run in seven innings in his first two rehab appearances with Tulsa. He was optioned to Oklahoma City to begin the season but did not appear in a game for the Dodgers’ Triple-A affiliate.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — I took advantage of an off-day in the Dodgers’ Cactus League schedule Wednesday to take in three minor league games (Triple-A, Double-A, Rookie) against the Chicago White Sox.

All three games were going on at once, so my head was turning quite a bit until Jordan Schafer took the mound in the Double-A game. I wrote about the significance of that here, and you can watch Schafer’s warm-up tosses here.

Reports: Gabe Kapler to coach first base, Dodgers hire a pair to minor-league coaching staffs.

The Dodgers haven’t announced any of their major- or minor-league coaches, but here are a few recent reports indicating what might lie in store:

Gabe Kapler will reportedly be the first-base coach.

Paco Figueroa will reportedly be the minor league hitting coordinator.

Ryan Garko will reportedly be the manager at Double-A Tulsa.

The club is expected to announce its major league staff this week. Kapler is the director of player development, so it’s not clear who is overseeing the hiring process of the minor league coaches and managers.
