Bloggers’ Primavera a success!

The weather was perfect last Saturday! I put the top down on my convertible and cruised to Farnsdale Park in Altadena for the Bloggers’ Primavera potluck and meet-up. It was held in a nice covered picnic area, allowing the breeze to blow through, but keeping the sun at bay.

It was terrific to see all my cyberfriends in person and to really chat. I nibbled on an array of edibles, sipped iced tea and went from conversation to conversation trying to meet people I didn’t know and catch up with the ones I do.

It’s amazing to me how many people knew me from my blogs (my entertainment blog is http://mickieszoo.blogspot.com ) and how many were there whose words I read. If only I could read everyone’s blog every day! Alas! I’m lucky to keep up with them several times a week! But still, the connection is there and it’s friendly.

To see the fun we had and find other cool blogs you may be missing, I suggest you visit www.altadenablog.com and www.pasadenadailyphoto.blogspot.com Both sites offer links to even more wonderful cyberspace finds, as well as photos, videos and witty commentary on our Primavera and more.

Oh, and did I mention that the blogging group still paid homage to my regalness even though 32nd Occasional Pasadena Doo Dah Queen Skittles was also in attendance? What an honor!! So please, dear subjects, support this collection of cyber word- and photo-smiths and feel free to comment– I understand they love hearing from their readers as much as I do.

Now carry on, as you were,

Queen Mickie

  1. Although brief, it was fun to meet & say, “Hi,” to you! Had to leave early, at halftime. I’m happy I shot a pic of you & the current Queen together!

    Until the next get together…
