The end comes to McGinty's Gallery at the End of the World in Altadena

Hundreds of Post-its are scattered throughout McGinty's Gallery at the End of the World for visitors to take as a memory. Last night during the artists' reception I found the right one: I was at the final Artbender at the Gallery at the End of the World and now I totally rock! You have three days to find your own...

This is the last show at the gallery, which is closing. Look over the events and make your plans so you can tell your grandchildren that you were there.

Tonight, Dec. 3, is the 1st Friday Art Club from 7 p.m.-1 a.m.

In addition to the fantastic array of art, from traditional to abstract in a range of media, there will be entertainment by Chico's Bail Bonds and The Subs, plus sword dancing by yours truly accompanied by drummer extraordinaire Ric Sarabia. Admission $5.

Saturday noon-6p.m. is the Salon, which includes a potluck barbecue. Free, but please bring a dish to share.

Sunday noon-6 p.m. Tie One On, a Sunday brunch. Free, pot luck dish welcomed.
