The past few years, those in and on the parade route have become merely target practice for people who only come to throw tortillas, Silly String, water balloons, and marshmallows. Not very “Doo-Dah” to me. Just disappointing and truly reflective of the dumbing down of Pasadena. I refused to participate last year and my decision was correct as the others in the entry I used to be part of said it was the worst and I would have hated it.
I do, however, show up and participate in the post-parade festivities! That’s still fun.
