We interrupt this rock concert to bring you a hockey game.

A stage was erected on an ice rink in Atlanta, flanked by makeshift towers spouting makeshift fire, specifically for the Hives to play a couple songs before the NHL All-Star Game.

Absolutely nothing is right about that.

Fire on ice … the best hockey players in the world standing on a rink in front of the Hivesin Atlanta

…During introductions, Chris Pronger is half booed, half cheered by the fans … in Atlanta …

…Rick Nash scores 12 seconds into the game … in Atlanta… where more people will attend apoultry expo than the NHL all-star game.

UPDATE: Scott Niedermayer has scored a goal with 4:52 left in the second period. See, he deserved to be there after all.
