Who does your favorite Duck like in the Super Bowl?

One question: Who do you like in the Super Bowl?

George Parros: “I was born outside Pittsburgh, so I’m a Steelers fan. I’ve got to go with them.”

Teemu Selanne: “You know what? That’s going to be tough. I’d say Arizona, just because it’s closer. I like Arizona. I’m not a huge football fan. The golfing’s the main plus. To be honest, even the sports I don’t like, I really enjoy the playoffs.” [But you wouldn’t bet on the Super Bowl? “No. I’m not really into it.”

Brendan Mikkelson: “Cards. The weather’s good. I think that passing offense, Warner passing the ball to Fitzgerald getting open, I think they’ll win. If it’s snowing in Tampa, that’s trouble. If it’s bad weather, that Steelers defense will take over, I think.”

Jonas Hiller: “Seriously, I don’t follow football that much. I just hope it’s a good game and I win in the (final score) pool.” [are you going to watch?] “I don’t know. Have to see what I’m doing that afternoon. There is the Australian Open going on too, so I might have to watch that.”

Chris Kunitz: “Pittsburgh. Defense. That good defense is going to win. Defense wins championships.”

Nathan McIver: “Hopefully, Arizona. I’m going for Arizona. The underdog. I’m not a huge NFL fan, so let’s go with the underdog, Arizona.”

Sammy Pahlsson: “I have no clue. I got four results in the squares we’re doing, that’s all I need. I know who’s playing. That’s all.”

Rob Niedermayer: “Pittsburgh.”

Drew Miller: “Cincinnati, I think.” [wait, who’s playing this year?] “Cincinnati and Pitt.” [you mean Arizona?] “I mean Arizona and Pitt. Same color, right? I don’t know why I said Cincinnati.”

Jean-Sebastien Giguere: “I’d have to say Pittsburgh. No reason, just because they’re the favorite. I think I’ve watched one football game this year.”

Andrew Ebbett: “I got my money on the Cardinals, I think. We have a playoff pool in here. (Brett) Festerling and I are teamed up with the Cardinals. We’ve been behind them since Day 1. Hopefully they can pull it out. It’d be disappoitning if they don’t win now. We’ve been underdogs — the two rookies with the so-called worst team in the playoffs.” [they’re going to hate you guys if the Cardinals win…] “Yeah. Big time.”
