McIver to Iowa.
The Ducks announced today that defenseman Nathan McIver has been sent to Iowa , no surprise after the team needed to make room for Sheldon Broobank, acquired last night in a trade with the New Jersey Devils. McIver had cleared waivers Tuesday morning, giving the Ducks the option of sending him down.
