Ducks-Sharks notes.
With all the stakes on the line for the Ducks tomorrow against the Sharks, it's easy to forget that Travis Moen will come to Honda Center in a San Jose uniform.
The Ducks are planning to honor Moen, who was dealt to San Jose for prospects in February, with an in-game video during the first TV timeout. Kent Huskins was also shipped out in that trade, but is still recovering from a broken foot and isn't expected to be in the building. If he's back on April 5 for the Sharks' next visit, he will be recognized then.
The Ducks, who have mostly caught up with the rest of the Western Conference in the games-played column, are two points out of the eighth and final playoff spot. Check out the standings here.

J.P. Hoornstra has been covering the Anaheim Ducks since 2007. Eight months after the University of Wisconsin won its third NCAA hockey championship, he was born in a frigid Madison winter. He betrayed his blue-blooded beginnings by graduating from UCLA in 2003, and welcomes any and all dialogue on the finer points of hockey.
