Selanne has surgery, out 4-6 weeks.

A team spokesperson reports that Teemu Selanne had surgery this afternoon to repair a fractured bone in
his left hand. The successful operation was performed by Dr. Steve Shin
at the Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center in Los Angeles. Selanne is expected
to miss 4-6 weeks.

Dan Sexton was recalled from AHL Manitoba to take Selanne’s roster spot and is in the lineup tonight against the Minnesota Wild. So is Kyle Chipchura, who was acquired from the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday for a 2011 fourth-round draft pick.
