Hey now, I'm just going with Wikipedia on this, and it says Montrose is really La Crescenta-Montrose, "an unincorporated area in Los Angeles County, California, encompassing those parts of the Crescenta Valley not in the cities of Glendale or La CaƱada Flintridge."
But I'm willing to be convinced otherwise.

Well, the Glendale map on my wall says Glendalian Montrose bordered by Pennsylvania on the east, Lowell Ave. on the west and Mayridge to the north -- it's a tentacle digging into the San Gabriels.
But hey, who's really keeping track except for tax collectors and reporters with nothing better to do?
