You can file this under “Totally Useless Trivia”. When this story surfaced, I learned that not all baby carrots start out as “babies”. In fact, many mass-produced baby carrots are full grown members of that veggie family. They become babies after being “processed” in a huge tumbler-like device that shaves them down to size. Wonder what happens to the missing parts.
Nice guru! They should totally turn that into one of those Seasame Street how-things-are-made videos.
Are you sure it wasn’t the unnatural looking orange color that the carrots are painted that was recalled?
