Out of line?

Eddie and I were talking about this headline in the L.A. Times earlier today.

Not quite sure if this is appropriate given the circumstances of the double tragedy the mother is experiencing.

Even worse - the teaser headline on Times' homepage is a variation for the same story. Thoughts?
