Rio Hondo Iowa trip redux
UPDATE: From Gary Mendez: "Students are not raising money . I am (Gary) raising money to help get students back. The parents of these college students support them working on a presidential campaign but do not have much personal income. Campaigns are tough and not for the faint hearted but these students have been dedicated to thier cause and decided not to leave early with someone who found it too hard. Thanks for your support."

These kids do not need $500 each to get back to LA. I am a Glendoran who is living in Iowa City for the time being, and it only cost me $149 round-trip on the Greyhound to get here. Looking at the Greyhound website right now, I see that a one-way ticket from Des Moines to LA costs only $159. It may not be as comfortable as the train, but it won't cost $2000 for 4 people, either. Sounds like their coordinator didn't plan as well as he should have.
