Election Night

San Fernando Valley school board candidates Jon Lauritzen and Tamar Galatzan are getting ready for their election night parties. Lauritzen will hold his at the same place he held it on the night of the general election: Pizza L.A. Company on Devonshire at Balboa. Things are expected to pick up after 8 p.m. The address is 16904 Devonshire.

Galatzan changed her venue from Vitello's to Sportsmen's Lodge at 12825 Ventura Blvd. (at Coldwater) in Studio City. In a possible sign that they expect victory, Galatzan's people are arranging speeches from city officials starting at about 9:45 p.m. with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa expected to take the stage at 10 (maybe in time to go live for the 10 p.m. news?).
