Construction project ceremony

| | Comments (0)

County Supervisor Gary Ovitt and Chino Valley Unified School District officials will host a Safe Path to Schools dedication ceremony.

The ceremony is for the construction of 6-foot wide concrete sidewalks, curb and gutters as well as handicap ramps along both sides of Cozzens Avenue. Construction will begin at Riverside Drive and continue south to the end of Cozzens Avenue.

Officials will be at Doris Dickson Elementary School, at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 25 at 3930 Pamela Drive, Chino.

This construction project is another phase of the County's 'Safe Paths to Schools Plan' which builds sidewalks, curbs, gutters and handicap access for students to use on their way to and from schools in the unincorporated areas of the county.
