Fom Cal Poly Pomona's PolyCentric:

Cal Poly Pomona's College of the Extended University has received a prestigious Learning In Practice Award from "Chief Learning Officer" magazine.

The college was awarded the bronze Excellence in Academic Partnerships Award for working with more than two dozen local agencies this past year to teach their employees about a key business issue -- succession planning and the development of up-and-coming leaders.

The awards were announced at a special awards ceremony during the fall Chief Learning Officer Magazine Symposium held in Colorado Springs.

All award winners will be featured in a special supplement in the magazine's December issue.
