Curtis Schlaufman, 23, of Diamond Bar, has been appointed to the California State University Board of Trustees. During 2008-2009, he served as president and chief executive officer of the Associated Students at California State University, Fullerton where he previously served as executive vice president from 2007 to 2008 and chief governmental officer from 2006 to 2007. Schlaufman served on the California State Student Association's Board of Directors from 2004 to 2009.
The CSU Board of Trustees has two trustee positions reserved for current university students. The students serve as members of the board for up to two years.
