Chaffey High wins county Academic Decathlon title

Chaffey High School's Academic Decathlon team took the win at last night's Academic Decathlon banquet.

This is Chaffey's second win.

The top five scoring teams and their point totals in this year's competition were: 
  • 43,839 - Chaffey High of Chaffey Joint Union High School District 
  • 41,977 - Redlands High of Redlands Unified
  • 41,575 - Chino Hills High of Chino Valley Unified 
  • 39,414 - Rancho Cucamonga High of Chaffey Joint Union High School District
  • 37,385 - Arroyo Valley of San Bernardino City Unified

Chaffey will continue to the state competitions in Sacrament March 12-15.

The big news from the 27th annual AcaDec banquet last night was Redlands and Chino Hills High schools will also join the Ontario-based school at the state's capitol for the competitions.
