More than 500 students at Windrows Elementary School in Rancho Cucamonga were treated to an anti-bullying assembly with a twist last Friday.

The assembly was put on by "The Bully Dudes" Keith Berger and David Prather, whose message is to address the very serious subject of bullying through a series of thought-provoking vignettes, according to the website.

"Bullying is an issue that all schools deal with, and although it's not a major issue at Windrows I want kids to know how to deal with it if they have to in the future, and what better way to deal with it than through comedy," said Josh Lautenslager, Windrows principal.

Prather did all the talking during the assembly while Berger did the miming.

"They did these skits involving bullying scenarios to teach students how to respond when they're being bullied and what to do," Lautenslager said. "They also make sure the students realize how their actions affect others."
