The race for the third and last spot on the Santa Fe Springs City Council has tightened up with challenger Juanita Trujillo now leading incumbent Betty Putnam by 10 votes.
Here are the numbers:
Louie Gonzalez        618 19.8%
Michael Madrigal      493 15.8%
Juanita Trujillo          445 14.2%
Betty Putnam          435 13.9%
Jose Angel Zamora  396 12.7%
Lillian Puentes         366 11.7%
Gary Mendez          188   6%
Albert Hayes           184   5.9%
