Wanted to give credit to the men of the awards season. Without you....well, there'd be no one stepping on our dresses....but that's neither here nor there. We do enjoy watching your well-tailored behind (and front) make it's way down the red carpet. For instance....

John Krasinski (bka "Jim") of the SAG-winning show "The Office" chose this Prada two-button black tuxedo and slim black satin tie for the evening out.

A good look for picking up your second consecutive SAG win in that category.

Best Supporting Actor nominee Casey Affleck shaved off the recent stubble he'd been wearing for the night's festivities and tried on a few other looks for size...namely, this one.

Oh, and thissss-a-one.

We already know the gal can work an umbrella (ella, ey...eh, uh *cough*).

But this stylish songstress worked the camera at last weekend's NRJ Music Awards in Cannes.

The bare-backed (you know what i mean) Rihanna let no angle go un-photographed...

...or no ear go un-adorned as she chose these star-shaped diamond drop earrings by Chopard (bangles and rings also by Chopard) to make a proper, Cannes-worthy appearance.

Even though it was the Screen Actors Guild Awards, my personal fav to see on the red carpet is the wife of actor Forest Whitaker, Keisha.

She's always fresh-faced and las night looked flawless in pink and sparkled with the help of her this Daniel Swarovski clutch.

I know she's not acting...but give the lady an award for something already.

"Ugly Betty" star Ana Ortiz did it in a black Pamela Dennis strapless with a dramatic "umbrella" hem...

...while "Hairspray's" bright-eyed Brittany Snow did it in a sequin gown with chiffon hem by Zuhair Murad...

Like when Jada married Will, I'm still getting used to calling Eva Longoria...a Parker. It's easier giving her positive reviews on the tasteful look she chose to put together for today's London appearance in promotion of her new so-so movie (postive reviews don't come that easy!) "Over Her Dead Body."

The littlest of the "Deseperate Housewives" is usually the biggest on style, and today was no exception as she opted for a very sophisticated look marked by this bold silk blue blouse by Kenneth Cole.

Our motto: Dress to impress! (Even if the flicks fail to do so.)

Forget the little black dress, Hollywood starlets are thinking more along the lines of the big black coat to keep their little dress-wearing selves warm during their stay in Utah for the Sundance Film Festival.

Mom-to-be Jessica Alba accented her black coat with a shimmering silver scarf by Kenneth Cole New York.

Mexican actress Adriana Barraza (below, far right) chose this Kenneth Cole belted coat as the ideal options for beating the brick weather at yesterday's premiere of "Henry Poole Is Here ."

The other ideal option? Cozying up with the anyone who'll let you.

Lucky her "Henry Poole" castmembers don't mind getting close!

But I must give credit to Mary Lynn Rajskub, not only because she went ahead and rocked that little black dress at the Sundance premiere of "Sunshine Cleaning" this past weekend..

...but because she resisted the call of the big black coat in the most stylish way.

Sarah Jessica Parker is on the scene, and we can't wait to see her on the screen this May in the "Sex and the City" movie. Yesterday, however, she was out promoting a different flick at the Sundance Festival premiere of her new romantic-dramedy "Smart People," out earlier in April (score!).

Along with her cast, SJP was stylin with hubby Matthew Broderick by her side...

...and Mikimoto around her neck.

The classic accessories complimented her New York-meets-Utah-in-the-winter (*wink wink*) look.

Looking forward to: WAYW-meets-SJP-in-the-spring!

A box clutch isn't some type of self-defense move. No. But it is a young actress' accessory of choice (at least recently) to complete that sophisticated look.

Like Jurnee at the RBN Awards, "Cloverfield" actress Odette Yustman chose a box clutch by Daniel Swarovski to the premiere of the freaky Blair Witch Project-meets-Godzilla (minus the chimp) flick in LA last night.

Last night's National Board Of Review Awards Gala brought out some big names and some names to remember.

Golden Globe winner Julie Christie stepped out to accept the award for Best Actress in "Away from Her" glowing from the attention...or the Chopard diamond necklace she chose for the occasion.

And the young actress who should see some recognition for her role in "The Great Debaters," Jurnee Smollett, was in good spirits with her co-stars at the NBR event.

What's up with Denzel and his all-the-way buttoned look these days??

It's so prison guard-ish (I mean, we love him all the same but...come on, let the neck breathe!)

Anyway, Jurnee, looking lovely and very grown up accessorized her lots-o-frills strapless with this box clutch by Daniel Swarovski.

Who doesn't love Alicia Keys?

Apparantly not enough people to make a difference as she accepted the "Entertainment Award" at Saturday night's BET Honors in DC, wearing this sparkle-accented dress (with a Daniel Swarovski clutch - top pic - with, of course, some sparkle action of its own).

While Keys was receiving, actress turned music video director (for Common, no less) was giving one (to Rep. Maxine Waters) in this embellished Grecian-inspired dress.

On the other side of the country, Daniel Swarovski was the accessory of choice as well as Kate Walsh showed herself off at the Art of Elysium Gala in LA Saturday.

Like we say in LA: With this kind of *bling*, who needs the stars (of the plasmatic variety).

Good to know some actors are working (if only the red carpet).

"The L Word" star Jennifer Beals weathered the LA "storm" Sunday night in this silk (yikes!) dress by Malandrino to celebrate a new season of the Showtime series.

Entering their fifth year, spirits were as high as Beals' platform heels.

Yup!

And the star of FOX's hit hopeful "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" Summer Grau dressed more appropriately for her name than the unusually chilly/dreary LA evening at last night's premiere of its first season.

The colorful Pamella Roland dress matched her rosy cheeks...and, hopefully, a rosier future for the up-and-comer.

OK, we're totally kidding. But has Lucy Liu been on the low-low, or what?

Our favorite a$$-kickin, sh!t-talkin Queens-bred "Angel" stepped out for a "Letterman" appearance last night in this cashmere cape by Escada.

We'd say something about how the Frosty the Snowman-esque look of this may not be the best way to go...but we're afraid she's not as warm and fuzzy as her outerwear would lead us to believe.

But alas...

...it was all just a set up for the fabulosity (c) crazy Kimora Lee Simmons that was hiding underneath. (I can hear see you now, Liu!)
