Jury duty

| | Comments (2) |

It's the Friday before my first day of jury duty. I called the automated number. Call back Monday. One day down, four to go. Will I be heading out to Main Street in Santa Monica to be a potential juror? I won't know until Monday evening.

I will be blogging the experience, using the Palm handheld as my notebook. (I've been brushing up on my Graffiti 2 stylus-on-screen writing in anticipation.)

Dear Mr. Rosenberg
If you are called for jury duty, it will be quite interesting to have an inside view of what most of us shun, although heaven knows we do need competent jurors.
Thought I'd comment on this first, but my real intent as to this submission is to inquire if you ever received my email. The wind has been battering Sherman Oaks as well so perhaps my email is somewhere in Kansas.
Twice I tried to thank you for your comments and continued interest in Ted Greene and offered to send you some material of his for your personal enjoyment. Perhaps (for whatever reason) this message was not conveyed. The offer still stands.
With much appreciation for your efforts to imbue the world with the beauty of Ted's music. Barbara Franklin

P.S. There is new lesson material on the actual website!

I wonder if in your jury duty you will find that at least half your jury co-horts watch way too much CSI. We had a hung jury because too many in my group were expecting CSI like evidence for a vandalism case.
