Oh my gosh!

I swore. In this blog. I used the "f" word. I don't think my use of the "s" word about 40 times was a problem, but I guess the "f" word was.

And I thought nobody -- and I do mean nobody -- reads this ... shall we say "detritus." I even got a couple of angry e-mails. We brought "Judge Parker" back -- so be happy, people.

Everytime I get, shall we say, "inflamed" by this kind of "hooey," I tend to bomb a bunch of posts into my Blogger version of this "turgid" forum.

Don't know if I'll do that today. I'm already pre-dating my entries so they don't show up in the "top five" on Dailynews.com, and I think that's enough for now.

But in honor of all that is pure and good, I will, hence forth, call "Good List/S--- List" by a new name, "Good List/Crap List." I don't think anybody would say, "You're on my crap list, buddy," but one suggestion I got via e-mail was to "use a Thesaurus" (only I'm spelling it correctly).

I think Thesauruses (or is it "Thesauri?") are one of the scourges of modern writing. Nothing like using words to which one has no connection in place of those that flow so gosh darned naturally? Am I right? You darn well know I am.
