It's 15 minutes before tipoff in the Galen Center.

So far, the crowd -- what there is of it; the folks tend to be late-arriving in SoCal -- is roughly 80 to 20 percent, Cardinal and Gold.

There's a big national media turnout for game too . . . Grant Wahl of Sports Illustrated is sitting next to me.

I really enjoyed your artical about the superior anouncing done by the Stanford Coach. In you younger years, you would have brought up the fact about fox sports being dominated by the poor announcing of the ucla homers.
