Halftime: Buckeyes 27-23

Greg Oden played two minutes and 41 seconds in the first half, didn't score and didn't grab a rebound.

Yet Ohio State leads Georgetown at intermission, 27-23.

The biggest reasons: The play of OSU freshman point guard Mike Conley and the poor job the Hoyas are doing attacking the Buckeyes' zone defense.

The latter is somewhat surprising, considering Georgetown had a week to prepare for the Buckeyes knowing they were going to play predominately zone (they'd done so in the tournament and that was also the case a year ago when the Hoyas prevailed by 18 over them in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Let's see how John Thompson III's team adjusts after intermission.
