They were down by 11 points in the first half to Arizona State tonight but the Washington Huskies are going to get another pop at the cross-state rival Washington State Cougars Thursday night in the Pac 10 basketball tournament quarterfinals.
There’s the buzzer!
UW 59, ASU 51.

So the games are like this Thursday in the Staples Center: Noonish, Arizona vs. Oregon; 2:30ish, UCLA vs. Cal; 6:20ish, USC vs. Stanford; and, 8:45ish, UW vs. WSU.
By the way, the Cougars have dusted the Huskies four consecutive times.
And, in Anaheim, Pacific cruised past Northridge, 71-54. The score alone tells you it was probably one of the Tigers’ better performances of the season.
They get the Titans of Cal State Fullerton Thursday night. It hould be a dandy, as should the UCI vs. UCSB clash in the other Big West quarterfinal.
That’s, all, folks! It’s time to venture south-bond on the 110 Freeway
