Second games in Staples and ACC

Washington was down by nine points just a few minutes but has now tied the score at 24 after consecutive inside shots by Spencer Hawes.

That being said, I continue to be impressed by the job that Herb Sendek is doing in his first season for Arizona State.
A year from now, with the guy sitting behind me (James Harden of Artesia) in the Sun Devils’ lineup, I doubt seriously that the will be the “10” team in a “7-10” Pac 10 Tournament matchup.
And, this just in from the Anaheim Convention Center: at halftime, Pacific 38, Cal State Northridge 24.
So much for my prediction in today’s Press-Telegram of a Matadors’ victory over the Tigers, I guess.
