Stanford was down by seven points a couple of times early in the first half but Stanford took a 42-31 at intermission..
Amazingly enough, the Cardinal got only a combined two points from the starting frontcourt of Robin and Brook Lopez and Lawrence Hill.
Landry Fields, who lives in Long Beach and graduated from Los Alamitos last June, hit all four of his shots (a couple of them 3’s) and had 10 points for Stanford.
He’s going to be very good down the road
