Esperanza and Wilson both stranded runners in the first inning of the teams' CIF Southern Section Division I semfinals at the Riverside Athletic Complex Tuesday afternoon.

Junior right-hander Raymond Hanson got himself out of a bases-loaded, one-out situation in the top of the first for the Bruins.

And Aaron Hicks was thrown out trying to steal home for Wilson to close out the bottom of the first.
