Canyon of Anaheim held on to knock off Mater, 5-3, in the other CIF Southern Section Division I baseball semifinal Tuesday night.
So that means the Comaches will take on the Wilson Bruins Friday night in Dodger Stadium for the title.
Like Wilson (in Ryan Dent), Canyon has an exceptional shortstop in Christian Colon, who has signed with Cal State Fullerton.
