Remember when Dominguez beat Atlanta Southwest in Pauley Pavilion a few years ago? That Atlanta team was led by Dwight Howard (Orland Magic) and the guy the Lakers just picked.

Javaris Crittenton, a 6-3 1/2 combo guard who played as a freshman last season at Georgia Tech, went to the Lakers at No. 19.

All in all, a pretty good talent -- albeit one that needs a lot of polish -- to be sticking around that late in the first round.

He's not a "true" point guard but could be an exceptional scorer pretty quickly.

Oh, yeah . . . the Lakers already possess a high-scoring guard, don't they?
