Promise comes true

DePaul forward Wilson Chandler stopped working out for NBA teams several weeks ago, even though he wasn't a high-profile prospect.

The speculation (confirmed to me last week) was that the New York Knicks had "promised" to select him if he was still available at 23 -- but only if he wouldn't work out for any other teams.

He held up his end of the bargain and so did the Knicks.

That's the seventh pick I've had on the button.
