The Jazz picked up another target for Deron Williams' passes by choosing 6-6 Morris Almond of Rice at No. 25.
I knew Utah GM Kevin O'Connor was going to select either Derrick Byars of Vanderbilt (a better athlete but not the shooter Almond is) or Almond in this slot. So I was close!
My final mock had Almond Houston-bound at No. 26.
So who do the Rockets take there? Maybe Byars or maybe another shooting guard, Arron Afflalo of UCLA, who worked out twice for Houston.
Josh McRoberts is the most highly rated player who has yet to be chosen, though.
