It's about a wrap in Akron

We're sitting in Rhodes Arena on the University of Akron campus, waiting for the final game of the LeBron James Skills Academy.

Truth be told, I'd like to bust out of here and head for the hotel right now but I'll stick around and toss out a few last thoughts on the Nike-fronted event.

My choices for the 15 best players in the camp will be my column in Tuesday's Press-Telegram.

But here are a few others who impressed me:

*Brad Tinsley, a 6-2 "true" point guard from Oregon City who was one of the better jump shooters here. California and Pepperdine are among those in pursuit. He has a chance to be a first-team Best in the West selection in November.

*Rodney Williams, a slender 6-5 "wing" who will be a junior at Robbinsdale Cooper High in New Hope, Minn. I'd never heard of him three days ago. He could be a McDonald's All-America in 2009.

OK ...championship game (Kentucky vs. Duke ...how cute) is about to tip off . . . more later.
