The usual suspects dazzle

The Fullcourt Press All-West Camp wrapped up Thursday evening at Lynwood High after three days. And, to no one's surprise, Brandon Jennings and Demar DeRozan were, at times, spectacular during the events Cream of the Crop, Top 25 game.

Jennings (the former Dominguez High and now-Oak Hill Academy point guard) got to the rim anytime he wants and knocked in a healthy number of jumps in the last of three all-star games played in the Dinos Trigonis- and Pangos-fronted event.

And the 6-foot-6 DeRozan, who was spectacular during the LeBron James Skills Academy in Akron last week, also had a few "did he just do that?" dunks while sinking some high-rise jumpers as well Thursday.

But the 6-7 Jordan Hamilton, who has relocated from Dorsey to Dominguez High, was the game's leading scorer while leading his "White" squad past Jennings' and DeRozan's "Reb" club, 132-111.

He hit three 3's, coupled around a drive and slam, and finished with 30 eased-up points.

Also looking impressive in the final game were 6-8 junior-to-be Colin Borchert (6-8/Glendale, Ariz., Mountain Ridge) and 6-5 Ryan Howley (Flagstaff, Az., Sinagua).
