The Reebok tournament is shaping up as having a distinctive Southern flavor.
Team Breakdown (Florida) and World Wide Renegades (Georgia) have won the first two quarterfinals played in the Reebok Championships at Foothill High in Henderson this morning.
And there will be at least a third Southern club in the quarters since D-One Sports (North Carolina) and the Smyrna Stars (Georgia) are hooking up right now.
The only non-Southern hope is Belmont Shore, led by Brandon Jennings, which plays Southeast Elite (Alabama) in the final quarterfinal this morning.
I'm outta here after the Belmont Shore and on my way cross-town to Durango for the Main Event title game at 2 or so. Then it's on to Rancho in the northern portion of the city for the adidas Super 64 final.
Seattle Rotary Select, the Atlanta Celtics and Indiana Elite have advanced to the semifinals of the adidas deal with Pump-N-Run select playing Las Vegas Prospects in the final quarterfinal at I type this.
