Jackrabbits are cruising, baby

Poly rushed for a net of one yard last week in its upset loss at L.A. City power.

The Jackrabbits' running game - and everything else - is looking pretty sharp tonight, though, at Newport Harbor.

Coach Raul Lara's team holds a 21-0 advantage at intermission . . . in large part because the Sailors couldn't block Jurrell Casey with half of of the city of Newport Beach. I've got him with three sacks off Andrew McDonald and I might have missed a couple. Junior quarterback Morgan Fennell (six of eight passing for 51 yards) looks pretty sharp for the Jackrabbits and Ricky Johnson and Myron Richardson are running hard.
