The 29th Press-Telegram Best in the West basketball special was set to be published on Sunday.
But it's been pushed back to Nov. 11, three days before the opening of the NCAA's early signing week.
I was inable to finish all the writing for the special section because of a death in my family on Tuesday.
And I'm in Claremore, Okl., at about 1:30 a.m. Central Time on Saturday as I write this, eight hours or so after my mother's funeral services.
Not to sound trite but . . . I had the best mother a boy, and later a man, could ever hope for.
