Roy.... Roy.... Coach Roy..... Is that how old I am now? Roy is by far the best friend Paramount High School has ever had! All of the great teachers, coaches and administrators combined could not equal the love the students, atheletes, parents and coaches had for " Coach Roy."
I knew Roy when Frank Burlison had hair and was young! ( wow... Frank was my pal back in the day )
Roy, no one will ever replace you and Paramount is losing its best employee ever! You will be greatly missed but the thought of you will alway bring a huge smile to those of us who knew you.
Remember the day Antonio Pierce dropped by and I showed up.... a Regular Joe and a Super Bowl winning Pro Bowl Linebacker both remembered you enough to stop and say hello.
That is what you meant to a lot of us!!!!
God Bless You Roy.... you are always in my prayers and I am a better person for knowing you!
Scoop!
Coach Roy... I met him about 2 years ago when my oldest son suffered a knee injury while playing on the football team. I knew right away that he cared about my sons health. Cared about us making the right choices to keep him healthy for the rest of his life. Thank You for all of it. You Rock. The Lagos family
