In the IIAA division, Artesia (which finished fourth in the Suburban League) was the only area squad in the field, and had a road game against Canyon Springs Wednesday night.

In the IIA division, La Mirada was the No. 2 seed with Suburban co-champion Mayfair the No. 5 seed.

La Mirada plays host to Saugus on Wednesday night while Mayfair is at home to Camarillo.

Compton (which finished sixth in the Moore League) got at at-large bid and will play at No. 6 seed Simi Valley Wednesday night.
