Trojans pull off another surprise of sorts

An hour and a half after snatching Byron Moore away from Notre Dame, the Trojans landed another biggie when standout linebacker/safety Frankie Telfort Jr. (Miami Gulliver Prep) announced on ESPNU that the is signing with USC instead of his two other finalists, Florida and Stanford.

That takes some of the sting out of (apparently) losing Vontaze Burfict to Arizona State.

The No. 2 prospect on the Best in the West team, linebacker Mant Te'o, will announce within the hour and most expect him to announce for the Trojans over Notre Dame and UCLA.
