. . . and Poly will be taking a 1-3 record into Moore League play next week after falling to Oceanside, 14-7.

The Jackrabbits' defense did a reasonably good job. But Poly's offense is a mess right now. The Jackrabbits finally generated a ground game on its final possession (Michael Simmons ran hard on the drive) but sophomore Dylan Lagarde threw his third interception of the half with 1:07 remaining to end Poly's comeback aspirations.

They say "defense wins championships," but a solid offense must compliment it. Poly knows that they gotta get their act together if it wants to defend its title.
