Hey . . . the actions of University of Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount Thursday night after the game at Boise were outrageous and they should (and, no doubt, will) be dealt with in severe fashion.
That being said . . . I hope a lot of other football players across the country were reminded of a very valuable lesson, at the expense of Boise State's Byron Hout.
Never, and I mean NEVER EVER, remove your helmet into you or safely in your locker room or (and this speaks mainly to high school players) on your bus after the game -- especially if you insist on talking "head" to an opponent after the game.
The thing is, fellows . . . some guys answer taunts with punches.
