I've seen several comments on the blog about Los Alamitos quarterback Dylan Lagarde's eligibility at Poly after transferring from Serra (in Gardena).

Here's the deal: There is now a rule within California (in which place for several years) in which a high school athlete, going into his sophomore year, can transfer high schools have immediate varsity eligibility at the new school without a change of residence.

explsin the sudden quitting of quarterbaxks at poly and los al??

so your saying you can live in compton, go to torrance high, transfer to poly, quit and then transfer to los alamitos...as a sophmore...

well then hey, i hope everyone from compton, not just football transfer over to a better area and go to los alamitos...the heck with football.

"Oh my god" as the kids would say...
I hope the person who wrote this -- this -- ? I don't know what to say except that I hope he/she is not a graduate of local high schools.
