The 49ers cut their deficit to 44-42 but the Tigers are pulling away again.
Sam Willard just buried a 3-pointer while being fouled by Andrew Fleming of Long Beach and, following a timeout, he will be shooting a free throw with 11:30 remaining in attempt to put UOP up, 50-40.
The issue is simple: The Tigers get pretty good shot attempts on nearly every possession and the 49ers don't.
