Cal State Fullerton has stretched its advantage to 15 points (70-55) over Cal State Northridge with 5:32 remaining.

Barring a comeback that will border on the stunning, the Matadors' season will be a wrap and the Titans will face UC Davis Thursday night at about 8:30 or so.

And it also means that Long Beach State will take on (at 6) the winner of the UC Davis-UC Irvine tilt that is about to follow.

By the way, the Titans' Gerard Anderson had as good as dunk as you'll see (but you didn't and I did) 10 minutes ago, doing a splits over the head of Vinnie McGhee before nearly crashing the rim and backboard down.

That dunk might have won the NBA competition in Dallas last month.
