A lot of the best high school basketball talent in the country will be on display this weekend at the Hawthorne Athletic Xchange (better known as "The HAX"), which is located just off Crenshaw off the 105 Freeway at 3203 Jack Northrup Ave.

Forty-two Nike-sponsored travel teams from across the country will participate in the third stop of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League this spring.

Games begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday -- with games played on five courts in the facility -- and end at about 10:45 p.m.

Action gets underway at 8 a.m. on Monday and concludes at about 12:15 p.m.

Among the teams participating are the California Supreme (whose roster includes Ryan Anderson, Alex Carmon and Roschon Prince of Poly). An interesting 12:30 p.m. matchup Saturday has California Supreme taking on the Oakland Soldiers.

Admission is $5 daily -- a pretty sweet deal considering you will have access to 45 games on both Saturday and Sunday, and 15 on Memorial Day.
